These events are planned in the hopes of gathering together locally
to respond as a Congregation to “the urgent
challenge of protecting our common home, which includes a concern of unifying
the whole human family in the search for sustainable development, because we
know that things can change,” as Pope Francis reminds us in his Encyclical
Laudato Si.
Prayer: God of love, show us our place in this world as channels of
your love for all creatures on this planet, because not one of them is forgotten
in your eyes. Teach us to love all of
creation as you do. Give us the strength
and courage to be protectors of our common home. Amen.
