Laudato Si', a community conversation

Called to honor God our Creator for the many blessings in our lives and throughout creation, the Congregational Office of Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) invites you to reflect on and strengthen your commitment to protecting the gift of creation through a Community Conversation of Laudato Si' in St. Louis, MO on November 14, 2015.

This event seeks to create a sacred space where we can gather as sisters, associates, and collaborators of CCVI ministries in order to dialogue, reflect, and celebrate that together we have a responsibility to care for our common home wherever we are, in whatever we do.  If you haven't had a chance yet to read the Pope Francis' Encyclical, you can download a copy for free here

We will gather on November 14, 2015 at Incarnate Word Academy in the multi-purpose room from 1:30pm - 4:30pm.  We need to know how many people to expect in order to have sufficient materials available, so please rsvp to confirm your attendance no later than November 9th.  Please fill out the attached registration form and send it back to jpic.offic@amormeus.org with the Subject:  St. Louis Registration.
I leave you with the words of Pope Francis that inspire us to dream and act because, "we need only take a frank look at the facts to see that our common home is falling into serious disrepair. Hope would have us recognize that there is always a way out, that we can always redirect our steps, that we can always do something to solve our problems."   Laudato Si #61.

We are counting on you to help us gather and inspire our congregational family to take action on behalf of our common home.
